Dozens of planets appeard in the sky, suspended there, all shapes and sizes, all colours, some ringed, some rockey. At UNIT's New York base, Martha Jones tries desperatley, to phone the Doctor, but the signal is dead. In Cardiff, Captain Jack Harkness, Gwen and Ianto are on Code Red. In Earling, London, Sarah Jane Smith and her son Luke monitor the progress of 200 Earth-bound ships. In Chiswick, Donna's mother and grandad fear the wealfare of the most important woman in the whole of creation. And then Rose Tyler joins the party, just in time to hear a message for the human race.
