Donna is transported to a care home called CAL, in the library's hard-drive. She is treated by Dr Moon who introduces her to Lee, who she marries and has 2 children with. However, time keeps on slipping in the world she is in. In the library, Anita finds she has 2 shadows, Other Dave is killed by the Vashta Nerada, and the only way to get Donna and the 4022 "saved" people out of the Library's Hard-Drive is to patch someone into the Data Core. Which would kill them.
